Mike Campbell
Mike was born and almost raised in Clay County. He and his brother Billy Don Campbell consider the "Home Place" a small ranching operation that has been in their family just a little over 100 years, in the center of the Golden Triangle, between Buffalo Springs, Vashti and Post Oak.
Mike graduated from Bellevue High School in '71 and then continued his education at Tarleton State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agricultural Education. Mike taught Ag. Science for ten years at Lamar CISD in Rosenburg and then Rider High School in Wichita Falls. Mike also served as Agribusiness Director for KGTM radio and KAUZ television. Mike and Joe Tom have shared the microphone since 1985.
Mike and Tricia have been married since '74 and are the proud parents of Jana, Crystal and Justin. Their daughter Jana married Greg Fletcher and they have 3 little ones, Elizabeth, Justus and Jacob. The little blond girl is now married to Jason Finch and have recently added William Michael to the herd. Son Justin married Teri Parr of Archer city and is working for Herb Easley in the new car sales department.
Tricia teaches second grade for the Henrietta Elementary School.
Mike's real job is "Education Specialist, Net 9" for Region 9 Education Service Center. Mike is responsible for connecting over 40 schools to the Internet and maintaining their 2 way interactive video system.
Mike and Tricia make their home in Henrietta where he has served as President of the Henrietta ISD school board and Chairman of the Deacons at the First Baptist Church, Henrietta. He has also served as Chairman of the Clay County Appraisal District.
